“Northern Troopers” festival sponsored by INK to be held in Irkutsk Region from June 17 to July 3
In the Nizhneilimsky district – settlements of Novaya Igirma, Rudnogorsk, Vitim, and Bereznyaki – the events of the festival will be held for the first time.
This year’s festival was inspired by the Year of Teachers and Mentors and by the centennial anniversary of Leonid Gaidai, a famous film director. Actors and actresses Oleg Kharitonov, Aleksey Barabash, Alena Bikkulova from Saint Petersburg and Olga Khokhlova from Moscow will join the “Northern Troopers”.
The audience will enjoy meet-the-artist sessions, screenings of festival premiere films “Don't Bury Me Without Ivan” and “Mint Gingerbread”, acting and blogging master classes, press conferences, and photo sessions with celebrities. The children’s school "Mobilography" will present an exhibition of its best photo works.
The schedule of the “Northern Troopers” performance is as follows: June 17 in Kirensk, on June 18 – in the Yaraktinsky oil and gas condensate field, June 19 – in Verkhnemarkovo, June 20 – in Yantal, June 21 – in Zvezdnoye, June 22 – in Ust-Kut, June 23 – on the construction site of Irkutsk Polymer Plant, June 24 – in Rudnogorsk, June 25 – in Novaya Igirma, June 26 – in Vitim and Bereznyaki, June 27 – in Korshunovsky and Zheleznogorsk-Ilimsky, and from June 28 to July 2 – in Irkutsk.
The cultural project “Northern Troopers” includes concerts, performances, and master classes of famous actors, which take place in towns and settlements of the north of the Irkutsk Region and in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In 8 years, over 76 thousand people have attended the “Northern Troopers” and more than 20 actors of Soviet and Russian cinema took part. INK has been the general sponsor and organizer of the project since 2014.
