World Finance names Irkutsk Oil as Best Independent Oil and Gas Company in Eastern Europe for second consecutive year
The notorious financial magazine World Finance is a leading financial and business publication, produced bimonthly by World News Media from its global headquarters in London. According to the publisher, the audience of this magazine is 120,000 people.
Begun in 2007, the World Finance Awards annually celebrate achievement, innovation and brilliance in different areas. The Oil and Gas nomination has been presented since 2010.
International experts analyze development progress and activities of companies from varied spheres/sectors, then choose the best of them under the criteria of modernization success, production growth, market share, and relationships with partners and customers, segregating industry by regions.
World Finance magazine nominated Irkutsk Oil Company as "Best Independent Company in Eastern Europe 2013” (Russia is classified as Eastern Europe).
In 2013 Irkutsk Oil Company continued its successful implementation of its development program, boosting production to the projected 2.8 mln tons (a 21% increase y-o-y) and building complex in-field infrastructure.
Other 2013 winners in the Eastern Europe division were Gazprom, Bashneft, Novatek, and GazpromNeft.
