Seven schools have been set up under the candidate pool development program that cover key production areas – process engineering, mechanics, automation, power, metrology, geology, and pipelines. The purpose of the training is to upgrade engineering competencies needed in the company, taking into account the development of the whole sector and specific industries.

The program lasts 1.5-2 years, during which the training will be offered to high-potential employees in the candidate pools of various subdivisions. There are two levels in the program – starter and advanced. Upon completion of the training, graduates will receive a corporate certificate of upskilling in the engineering school as well as certificates of external training centers involved in the program.

“The engineering schools are expected to shape up expert communities where employees will be able to advance their competencies. Building their competencies, they will be able to manage processes, become a source of expertise in their discipline, contribute to continuity and efficiency of production processes, teach colleagues, develop guidelines, and implement improvements,” said Ruslan Salikhov, INK Managing Director for Operations and Chief Engineer.

INK also has a training program for future recruits. University students are welcome to enroll in corporate groups offering supplementary vocational training and apply for paid infield internship. There are adaptation courses and mentorship for young new-coming employees. Details on career opportunities for the youth are available here.
