BRIF Youth Day to be held in Irkutsk on October 4
Guests aged 18-35 are welcome to attend, free of charge. Registration is available on the website of the forum until September 20 inclusive.
The Youth Day of the forum is expected to become a platform for initiatives aimed at development of the northern areas of the Irkutsk Region and professional communities in the field of sustainable development. Participants coming from Irkutsk, Ust-Kut, Kirensk, Angarsk, Saint Petersburg, Ufa, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Orenburg and other cities will exchange ideas, put forward their vision of how the region should develop, and meet with experts. The event will be held in the Youth Center.
The program includes four sections: Young Managers, Young Engineers, Talents Needed, and Science Day. Participants will be offered panel discussions of such topics as “The importance of tutorship”, “Young managers’ experience. Risks and opportunities,” “AI applications in the fuel and energy sector, operations management using digital tools.” Other highlights of the day will be the ribbon-cutting of a cyber space in the Youth Center equipped with INK’s sponsorship, and the first tournament. At the closure of the event, the results of the grant contest PRO North Youth will be announced, and a new volume of the comic book Big Little Lena will be presented, which is based on stories created by schoolchildren in the Ust-Kutsky and Kirensky districts.
The VIII Baikal Risk Forum (BRIF’24) will be held from September 30 to October 4. This year, it will feature its first visiting session in Ust-Kut town, where potential investors will be able to learn about innovative projects, including those aimed at developing a human-friendly urban environment. Participants will also visit the Irkutsk Polymer Plant.
BRIF is the first international real-case risk management forum in Eastern Siberia and the Far East where companies share their risk-based solutions for business. Since the BRIF was first held in 2017, more than 650 real cases in risk management and business continuity have been presented. The total audience of the forum counts above 3 million people. More than 700 world-level experts and real sector top-managers have appeared at the BRIF.
