INK Entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation
The parties agreed to work together on projects aimed at increasing the level of environmental education and raising awareness for ecological issues in Irkutsk region.
“Irkutsk Oil Company was among the first to adhere to the principles of sustainable development, long before ESG became a global trend. Cooperation with the All Russian Society for Nature Conservation has also been a long tradition for INK. Now we will strengthen our interaction to support and implement socially significant initiatives in the region," said Yevgeniy Milov, Managing Director for Legal Work and Regional Policy, and a Board Director.
The cooperation includes the implementation of sustainable development ideas and principles, the formation and fulfillment of the environmental education project: ‘ECO-generation: ecology-culture-education,’ support for youth and volunteer initiatives, promotion of healthy lifestyles, participation in reforestation, preservation of water bodies, and natural monuments and attractions in the Irkutsk region. INK will provide financial support for the events, as well as assistance in their implementation and staging.
