INK received yearly award Russia’s Best ESG Projects
The award has also been given to companies that succeed in integrating the sustainable development principles in their business models via environmental, social, and corporate projects. INK’s project called ‘INK Safety School-2023’ has won the award in the category Good Health and Wellbeing.
In summer 2023, safety lessons were held for children passing their summer holidays in recreational camps, attending supplementary summer-time activities at school, and kindergarteners. Using gamification, children were taught how to act in hazardous situations at home, in the street, and in the forest. The lessons were delivered by specialists of autonomous non-profit organization Alternativa. In July 2024, the project will proceed with lessons on water safety.
INK has a Safety Culture Development Strategy covering three years. The document sets out measures for personnel training, developing communication between employees and the managers, and risk management.
The Company also reaches out to its partners with is a system of safety standards and requirements to comply with. In addition, INK specialists regularly hold Safety Thursday sessions and quarterly safety forums to share knowledge with its counterparties.
A mandatory in-presence adaptation course is provided to all contractor employees. Experts familiarize attendees with INK Golden Safety Rules, the principles of dynamic risk assessment, road and fire safety requirements to observe on the production sites.
