INK raised over 8 million RUB for Ivano-Matryoninskaya hospital to procure equipment

The funds were raised at a charitable event organized by the fund of Marina Sedykh and held in the art gallery of Viktor Bronshtein on the occasion of The Present Future exhibition supported by INK. The works on display were dedicated to the company’s investment projects. INK employees and other guests purchased some of the pictures. The General Director of JSC INK-Capital and Alexandr Abramkin representing the Baikal Bank of PJSC Sberbank made significant contributions.
The hospital has already ordered an arthroscope – an apparatus for minimally invasive articulation examination. When this endoscopic technique becomes available, children will not have to undergo some types of surgery and a long-term therapy.
“It is always sad to think that some children, who have all their life ahead of them, might never see their dreams come true. We were really frustrated with our helplessness, seeing patients suffer from being unable to do sports, creative activities or having difficulties with their daily routine. Our mission is to help them recover as soon as possible, which is almost impossible without modern equipment at hand,” Vladimir Novozhilov, Chief Medical Officer, said.
Mr. Novozhilov thanked INK for the provided support. According to him, approximately 250 patients of the hospital are awaiting the examination using the new equipment.
“Preparation of The Present Future exhibition took a whole year. Various genres and approaches were blended to show how our operation sites and the North of the region live and develop. It was a challenging, extraordinary and exciting experience. I think everyone saw something special in the pictures in which artists put a part of their soul. And, having bought one of the pieces, each of us made it possible to procure the equipment so much needed by the doctors and patients,” Ms. Sedykh said.
