Irkutsk Oil Company and Goldman Sachs Discussed Partnership Opportunities

On September 3, 2018 Chairman and COO of Irkutsk Oil Company Nikolay Buynov met Goldman Sachs senior leadership representatives. Meeting took place in London, UK in the regional headquarter of GSI.

During the meeting Mr. Buynov presented future plans of the company including construction of gas chemical plant (Irkutsk Polymer Plant) with planned production of 650,000 tons of polyethylene.
Parties discussed partnership opportunities between Irkutsk Oil Company and Goldman Sachs relating to those future plans
Information: Irkutsk Polymer Plant will be built in the city of Ust-Kut. Irkutsk Oil Company would use license of Lummus Technology Inc. for ethylene production and Univation’s UNIPOL™ polyethylene process. Toyo Engineering have been recently selected for engineering and procurement of ethylene unit.
