OOO “Irkutsk Oil Company” is implementing a project to build a plant in the Ust-Kutsky District of the Irkutsk Region.

According to the Glavgosekspertiza conclusion the design documentation of the IPP complies with the requirements of Technical Regulations and other established regulations, as well as the results of engineering surveys carried out to prepare the design documentation, and the Design Assignment. The design documentation was assessed for compliance with the results of engineering and geologic, engineering and geodetic, engineering and hydrometeorological, engineering and environmental surveys.

ZAO “Neftekhimproekt” (St. Petersburg) designed the construction of the Irkutsk polymer plant as ordered by the IOC.

In July 2020, the IPP project also received a positive conclusion of the state environmental expertise office.

For information:

The construction of Irkutsk Polymer Plant is carried out by OOO “Irkutsk Oil Company” near Ust-Kut under the staged implementation of a wide-scale gas project including the development of a natural and associated petroleum gas production, treatment, transportation, and processing system at their own fields.

The latest technologies that meet strict international environmental requirements will be used for the plant construction. Toyo Engineering Corporation, a Japanese engineering company, has been involved to implement the project. The producing capacity of the plant will be 650 thousand tons of saleable product per year. Polymers are used in automobile and aircraft manufacturing, space industry, medicine, consumer goods industry. The Irkutsk Polymer Plant will be similar to the modern plants across the world. 1500 New Jobs will be created.
