During three months, students of grades 7-11 attended lectures and practices in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, Russian language, and preparatory courses for the unified state exams of various levels. Classes were available both face-to-face and online for students from remote areas. Schoolchildren could join the project at any time by applying on the INK website.

As part of their studies, the participants also took psychology trainings, graphic design courses, performed laboratory work, participated in a science quiz, and took part in a DOTA 2 cyber tournament together with students from Irkutsk State University (ISU). In addition, excursions to the INK corporate museum and the Irkutsk Institute of Chemistry named after A.E. Favorsky SB RAS were organized for schoolchildren.

Active and distinguished participants of the sixth season were presented with diplomas and gifts. The winners were five schoolchildren who will be part of the INK Youth Squad. High school students who successfully complete the program will receive additional points to their unified state exam results when entering the ISU.

INK Academy is an educational program for schoolchildren in grades 7-11, aimed to introduce pupils to popular professions in the oil and gas industry, provide new knowledge and competencies, and experience for their portfolios. The project was created by Irkutsk Oil Company in cooperation with Irkutsk State University and has been running since March 2022. More than 5,500 schoolchildren have attended the classes over the five seasons.

The program consists of three main tracks: “Knowledge”, where scientific lectures and practical classes are held, ‘Development’, aimed at career guidance classes and ‘Career’, which provides for interaction with INK and joint activities with the company's employees.
