Irkutsk Oil Company (IOC) and the Marina Sedykh Foundation will support a rehabilitation program for veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Ust-Kutsky District. The initiative to create the program belongs to the mayor of the district Sergey Anisimov.

The project is designed for veterans, widows of Great Patriotic War participants, home front workers, war children and former concentration camp prisoners.

Within the 14-day program the veterans will be treated at the Ust-Kut health resort, where they will be provided with accommodation in comfortable rooms, five meals a day, and leisure activities. A visiting team of doctors from the Irkutsk Regional Clinical Hospital will come to the district especially for veterans to consult narrow specialists. IOC and the Marina Sedykh Foundation will cover the costs of accommodation, treatment at the health resort and the arrival of doctors. The district administration organizes delivery of veterans from remote areas.

IOC and the Marina Sedykh Foundation support veterans each year. Company volunteers deliver food baskets, cards and bouquets to veterans, war children and home front workers in Ust-Kut, the Ust-Kutsky District and Irkutsk. In addition, the company and the foundation send food packages to the Irkutsk Regional Public Organization for Assistance to Veterans of Education. During the holidays, employees offer targeted congratulations to Irkutsk veterans. Festive concerts and a field kitchen are organized for residents of the gerontology center in Markovo. In 2024, the Marina Sedykh Foundation also organized a rehabilitation program for Baikal-Amur Railway veterans, where more than 100 people were treated.
