Irkutsk Oil Company (IOC) is accepting applications for participation in the case championship of the Scientific and Technical Conference (STC-2025).

Company employees and students from relevant departments can participate in teams of four. Topics from the following areas are to be selected for cases: Design and Construction, Chemical Technologies, and Operation of Production Facilities.

Applications are accepted at the link until April 1. Participants will receive the task by email on April 2. Over the course of two weeks, teams will work on case studies and presentations. Project presentations will take place on April 16 in both offline and online formats.

As a reminder, the annual IOC Scientific and Technical Conference will be held in Irkutsk on April 16-18. The conference will be attended by the Company’s employees and ambassadors, young professionals, IOC class students, IOC Academy participants, students of the University-IOC youth programs, interns, and students from Irkutsk.

Participants will be offered to attend nine sections, educational webinars, and project presentations on improving efficiency before an expert jury. Students from relevant universities and secondary vocational schools in Irkutsk, the Irkutsk region, as well as from Mirny, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, and other cities have been invited to the conference.

The scientific and technical conference is an important part of IOC's corporate culture. The event has been running since 2016. Over 300 papers were presented throughout the period, many of which have been successfully implemented in production. Some of the ideas presented have become specific areas of focus at IOC.
