Doctors from the Ivano-Matreninskaya Children's Clinical Hospital have provided outreach consultations in the Ust-Kutsky and Nizhneilimsky districts. The event was organized by Irkutsk Oil Company (IOC) and Marina Sedykh Charity Fund as part of the Health for Children program.

More than 600 children underwent examinations by highly qualified specialists, including an ophthalmologist, neurologist, pediatrician, urologist, traumatologist, surgeon, and otolaryngologist. The outreach team worked for five days. The consultations were held in Ust-Kut, the village of Verkhnemarkovo, and the Nizhneilimsky District.

– Outreach trips to remote areas of the Irkutsk Region have become a good tradition for us thanks to the support of IOC and the Marina Sedykh Charity Fund. Our goal is to advise patients, determine the need for hospitalization, and help areas experiencing a shortage of medical professionals. In the five years since we started, we have helped over 3,000 children and teenagers, said Tatyana Belkova, Deputy Chief Medical Officer at the Ivano-Matreninskaya Children's Clinical Hospital.

The Marina Sedykh Charity Fund will assist children who have been recommended for treatment at the Ivano-Matreninskaya Hospital with the cost of travel to Irkutsk and back (for the child and accompanying person). Support is available to single-parent families, low-income families, large families, and families with disabled children. The Health for Children program has been implemented by IOC and the Marina Sedykh Charity Fund since 2020. In 2024, more than 1,200 children in Ust-Kut and the Nizhneilimsky District were examined. Last year, an outreach consultation of audiologists was held in Ust-Kut, where 10 children were examined, and two of whom were referred for examination in Irkutsk. Adult patients also received medical aid during the consultation.
