Irkutsk Oil Company has purchased an ambulance car for Katangsky hospital under the Agreement on Social and Economic Cooperation between the company and Irkutsk Regional Government. A vehicle is on the way to Erbogachen village now.
Tatyana Postavnaya, the Head of Katangsky hospital, thanked the management of Irkutsk Oil Company over the phone and said that the only ambulance car in the city could not service patients in case there were several emergency calls at a time. The second ambulance will help to improve medical service in Erbogachen and Katangsky district.
“It’s been a great help to us”, said Tatyana Postavnaya. “Even if our hospital could buy this ambulance by itself, it would only be possible in distant future. We really appreciate what Irkutsk Oil Company and its’ CEO, Marina Sedykh, have done for our hospital.”
Irkutsk Oil Company also plans to purchase an ambulance car for the hospital in Verkhnemarkovo village of Ust’-Kut district. The total amount of sponsorship packages of INK in 2011 is expected to top 21.5 million rubles. The key recipients are located in three municipalities - Ust-Kutsnky, Kirensky, and Katangsky.
