Irkutsk Oil Company (INK) and Russian Children Fund (RCF) signed an agreement for cooperation
Irkutsk Oil Company and the Irkutsk’s branch of the Russian Children Fund (RCF) signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by CEO of INK, Mrs. Marina Sedykh, and the chairman of the fund, Mrs. Svetlana Kulinich.
Under the agreement INK has committed to support orphans and children in hardship. As Mrs. Marina Sedykh stated during the ceremony, the Company is willing to support primarily those in need, who reside in the northern part of Irkutsk region, in the main operating areas of INK. The cooperation within the framework will allow the Company to direct money to the ultimate recipient faster. Mrs. Svetlana Kulinich noticed that Irkutsk Oil Company really supports and funds various charities and social programs, unlike many other companies don’t keep their word.
Within three months from signing the agreement, INK pledged to donate RUB 800,000 to the Russian Children Fund (RCF). This money will be used to purchase furniture for a childcare, to equip the children playground at Verkhnemarkovo village in Ust’-Kut region, and to renovate kindergarten №4 in the Kirensky region.
Irkutsk Oil Company continuously provides support to schools and daycares of the Katagansky, Kirensky, and Ust’-Kutsky regions for many years. INK plans to allocate some RUB 22 million of the financial support in 2011.
